The All India Bar Examination (AIBE), conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI), is a national-level exam for law graduates who aspire to practice law in the Indian Courts. Anyone who has done either a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB can take the AIBE 19 examination. Those who clear the AIBE exam get a Certificate of Practice (COP), through which they can practice law in India.
The Syllabus for AIBE 19 (XIX) 2024 consists of topics from LLB, such as Constitutional law, Administrative Law, IPC, CPC, CrPC, Jurisprudence, IPR Law, Evidence Act, Family Law, PIL, Alternative Dispute Redressal including Arbitration Act, etc.
