IIT JEE Preparation tips

  1. Solid Foundation with NCERT:Begin with NCERT books to establish a strong conceptual base for the JEE Main exam. Roughly 60-70% of the questions come from this resource. Once you’re confident, explore other reference books.
  2. Strategic Reference Books:Choose reference books that cover a wide range of topics, from fundamental to advanced application-based problems. Some well- regarded choices include R.D. Sharma for Maths, Dr. S K Goyal or S.L. Loney for Algebra, J.D. Lee or O.P. Tandon for Chemistry, and I.E. Irodov or H.C. Verma for Physics.
  3. Harnessing Online Resources:The internet provides a wealth of educational content and study materials. Explore websites offering chapter-wise PDFs, preparation tips, video tutorials (live and recorded), and more. Leverage these resources to expand your knowledge and improve your exam scores.
  4. Importance of Revision and Doubt Clearing:Regular revision is crucial for memorizing key facts and formulas, enhancing problem-solving abilities, and boosting accuracy. Never hesitate to clarify doubts with teachers, friends,or anyone who can help. Ensure all concepts are crystal clear.
  5. Practice Makes Perfect:Solving previous years’ JEE question papers is essential. This familiarizes you with the question format, marking scheme, and time management for each topic. Utilize online resources to access and practice these papers.
