Master of Arts [MA]
MA is a 2-year postgraduate degree course that offers a variety of fields. A MA is awarded when a student passes an integrated course of study in subjects in the humanities and social sciences. Admission is primarily offered based on merit. Some colleges also take individual entrance exams, like TISS, JNU, Calcutta University, and Jadavpur University. The course cost around INR 15,000–IINR 30,000. Students also have the option to pursue MAs in distance mode. They can study at IGNOU, which is a pioneer for distance education in India. MA students get offers for a wide range of jobs, starting from part-time professors to full-time teachers.

Master of Arts Syllabus
The syllabus, which includes theory and practical lessons, internships, research projects, and assignments, and the course curriculum are different for every specialization.
