BA Course: Admission Process

The CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test) Exam is conducted for taking admission in colleges. BA Course: Eligibility Criteria

The student must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board.
The percentage should be above 50%.
5% relaxation in the aggregate score given for SC, ST, and PWD by some colleges.
English is considered a mandatory subject in classes 10 and 12 at some colleges.

Types of Bachelor of Arts

An aspirant can pursue a BA in different modes as well, like full-time, distance mode, or online mode.

In full-time BA, eligibility is 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% marks and a duration of 3 years with average . fees of INR 10,000–80,000.

In distance BA, eligibility is a 10+2 qualifying degree from a recognized board. with a duration of 3-6 years and average . fees of INR 6,000–20,000.

In an online BA , eligibility is a 10+2 degree from a recognized board with a duration of 3 years and avg. fees of INR 40,000–1,00,000.

What is IGNOU BA

IGNOU BA is for those students who have not cleared 10+2 or equivalent exams. The duration of the course is 3 to 6 years with fees of INR 6,000. To be a part of the IGNOU BA program, candidates have to pass the Bachelor’s Preparatory Programme (BPP) first.
