NDA EXAM 2024
The full form of NDA is the National Defence Academy. The Union Public Service
Commission (UPSC) administers the NDA exam twice a year in order to to recruit
class 12th pass students into the defence. This exam is normally conducted in
April NDA (I) and September NDA (II). UPSC attempt to fill officer-level positions
in the Army, Navy, and Air Force through NDA (I) and NDA (II). The Naval
Academy vacancies are also filled through the NDA exam. The crucial stage in the

NDA 2024 Admit Card

official website. The UPSC NDA 2024 admit card contain details such as the
candidate’s name, exam centre information, exam date, time, roll number,
category, photograph, signature and exam day guidelines etc. Candidates must
bring their admit card to the examination centre along with one of the specified
photo ID proofs – an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, PAN Card, or
Passport.
What is the salary of the NDA 2024?
During the training period, the monthly salary at NDA is INR 56,100. Upon
joining NDA, candidates receive an initial salary, which increases over
time based on experience and performance. The monthly salary for a
Lieutenant at NDA ranges from INR 56,100 to 1,77,500. The Chief of Army
Staff receives the highest NDA salary at INR 2,50,000 per month. The
month-wise breakdown of NDA salaries is as follows: Captain: INR 61,300
to 1,93,900, Major: INR 1,69,400 to 2,07,200, Lieutenant Colonel: INR
1,21,200 to 2,12,400.
How much is the NDA application fee for a reserved category?
If you are from the SC/ST category or a ward of NCOs/JCOs/Ors, you will
be exempt from paying the application fee. However, applicants from the
general category are required to pay Rs. 100 as the NDA application fee.
What is the mode of NDA exam?
The NDA exam 2024 is being held in offline mode, i.e. pen and paper mode.
What documents are required at the exam centre for NDA exam 2024?
Candidates are supposed to carry a printout copy of the admit card,
ballpoint pen, original identity proof and 2 passport-size photographs to
